Annette has a long and storied history in IT and Art. After spending her entire childhood in art and music, she attended the University of Oregon, majoring in Fine Arts, and Brooks College in California as a design major. Her life took an unexpected turn when in 1991, she purchased her first computer and taught herself to use it. Others learned of her ability and asked for her help, and before she knew it, she quit her day jobs and became a computer consultant full time, repairing and teaching clients how to use their computer. In 1995 after the birth of the visual internet, she taught herself how to code web pages, and a new chapter of her life began. As CEO, she and her partners developed an niche-market web hosting company that became very successful and added to her long list of skills. With over 4,000 websites built in her career, she is also a popular instructor at Central Oregon Community College. Annette brings this skill to her website clients by training them on how to edit their websites after she builds the website, and is currently developing an online classroom that will benefit not only current clients but also everyday people needing help with their software.
